CHEO Toy Drive
During this time of year, at Simple Story, we believe it’s important to embrace the true holiday spirit of giving. We came up with the idea of running a toy drive in our building at 319 McRae Ave and donating these toys to CHEO. This was meant to be just a small gesture of appreciation for everything that CHEO does, but we ended up collecting much more than anticipated! We hope this has helped to make the season a little bit brighter for all of the children and their families spending time in and out of the hospital during the Holidays.
This time last year, my 5-month old son was just coming out of CHEO, having undergone surgery. We lived in the hospital for a few days, and I am eternally grateful for the great team that took care of us. It was pleasure organizing this toy drive.
Our friends and neighbours from Agility PR, Alterna Savings, Pythian and CSW Landscape Architects at 319 McRae Ave were very generous so we would also like to thank all of them. We created this video to help show the impact that CHEO has and how appreciative we are of them and all those who donated. Enjoy!
